Learn how to make a chapter instead of containing its own separate content, serve as a link to another chapter or a specific location in another chapter.
Turn a Chapter into a Link
- Click on Chapter properties.
The Chapter Properties window will appear.
- Select the chapter that you want to link to from the drop-down box under Link to Chapter.
- Select Beginning of chapter or your previously set anchor from the drop-down box under Anchor.
- Click OK.
And now you're done.
If you want the link to go to a specific location in another chapter, you will first need to set an Anchor to mark where the link should go. Read more Add an Anchor.
